On Wednesday 30th September Vision North East came to see us. Their names were John and Louise. Louise was John’s helper. John was blind and partially deaf in one ear. He had a plastic eye so when he took his glasses off he could hardly see. He took his glasses off and tapped his eye and we could hear a tapping noise. He had a beeper to tell him what colour the clothes were. He also had a talking tin. You put the talking tin on the food and it told him what food was in it. Instead of our normal clock he had a talking clock. also he had a talking kettle.

Over the past few weeks children from class 2 and 3 have had the opportunity to join in an after school club, Change 4 Life. Several children attended and enjoyed joining in with activities that can help them stay healthy. They have played games of their choice and made healthy snacks. The last week we made a fruit salad and shared it with other after school clubs.
Well done to all of the children!
Every child has the right to the best possible health.
On Monday class 1 had a lovely visit to Tynemouth beach and the Blue Reef centre. We had lots of fun building sandcastles and dipping our feet in the sea, even though it was very cold! On the afternoon we met lots of interesting sea creatures and even had the chance to hold a starfish. We were very brave!
Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
Josh Jonhnson ran in the Lambton 3k Fun Run on 21st June 2015 and came 19th place out of 135.
