On Saturday 11th July, Caitlin, Ana and Casey performed in the Clogfest at Skipton. Throughout the day they danced at the Castle, Townhall and by the Dock. A big thankyou to Kathleen and Miss Gordon who have been rehearsing with the girls.
Over the past few weeks children from class 2 and 3 have had the opportunity to join in an after school club, Change 4 Life. Several children attended and enjoyed joining in with activities that can help them stay healthy. They have played games of their choice and made healthy snacks. The last week we made a fruit salad and shared it with other after school clubs.
Well done to all of the children!
Every child has the right to the best possible health.
On Monday class 1 had a lovely visit to Tynemouth beach and the Blue Reef centre. We had lots of fun building sandcastles and dipping our feet in the sea, even though it was very cold! On the afternoon we met lots of interesting sea creatures and even had the chance to hold a starfish. We were very brave!
Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
Josh Jonhnson ran in the Lambton 3k Fun Run on 21st June 2015 and came 19th place out of 135.
Well done to all the out of school Achievements!
What we did in multi skills
By Grace and Alex
In multi skills we won the running race! We got a certificate with a logo on that was of people skipping.
It was so much fun! Also we did lots of other games like skipping, running. Maisie held flipper the penguin. The penguin was red and a white tummy. It was called flipper because it did flips. Everyone was kind. All the students were really good because they did a good job at explaining the games.
Our favourite game was the toy on the tennis racket.
Mrs Rowe came into class 1 today to do Relax Kids with us. We enjoyed learning about how to show our friends gentle touches and different kinds of ways to keep calm and relaxed. We had lots of fun! We especially enjoyed listening to Aladdins lamp story. We felt very relaxed! We are looking forward to seeing Mrs Rowe again next week.
Well done everybody who helped to raise money for Barnado’s by taking part in Care and Share week. We all helped out by caring and helping others at home and school. Together we raised the fantastic sum of £326.91p.
Thanks to everyone who donated.
An extra congratulations goes to Jessica who won a Barney Bear mascot from Barnado’s.
Another massive thankyou to everyone who helped make the childrens’ wish of a fair trade shop come true. The Rights Respecting Council raised £203.84 and couldn’t have done it without your help.
