Class 1 End of Term Castles Celebration
Class 1 have had so much fun today celebrating their final topic of the academic year. We baked biscuits and decorated them, made bracelets, had a wonderful medieval banquet and made wonderful crowns. The children wore party / castles clothes and had a fantastic celebration 🙂

Over the Summer, we are encouraging and raising an awareness to our children, to continue to promote the importance of and staying safe in and near water.

Dear Parents/Carers,
I would just like to thank you all for your support this last year. I have been again overwhelmed with the number of lovely emails, gifts, letters, cards and phone calls we have received and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I would like to say a huge thank you to each and every member of our staff. Their commitment, dedication and love for our children makes me so proud.
The children have been absolutely amazing. They are an absolute credit to you all and I am truly proud to be their Head Teacher.
To Year Six,
You have all worked so hard and should be very proud of your achievements. All of you have shown a great commitment to your learning You are all amazing and we couldn’t be more proud of you all!
You have all grown to wonderful, respecting young people and we are delighted to pass you onto your next chapter knowing that you have the skills and attributes to succeed in everything you put your minds to. Staffing
We would like to thank Mrs Henderson for her support over the last seven years covering our class teachers and providing tuition. She is going to be a part time class teacher in a school nearer where she lives and wish her all the best in her new role. Mrs Dyer will begin in September at our school providing tuition and covering class teachers.
School Dinners
School Dinners will increase from £2.20 per day to £2.25 per day from September 2022. If you have arrears with your school meals, please can you ensure these are paid. Many Thanks
Wed 7th Sep– Children return to school
Breakfast club -will begin on Wednesday 7th September. Children arrive at school 8am for those who wish to attend and pay via parent pay at the cost of £1 per day.
After School Clubs- will begin week commencing 19th September
Information about clubs will be sent out week commencing 12th September

TT Rockstars Celebration Day – 15.7.22
UNCRC Article 31 – leisure, play and culture
What a fabulous day we have had our to celebrate our TT Rockstars. We demonstrated our Rights Respecting Gold ethos by hosting our Celebration Assembly, then 14 lucky TT Rockstars went aboard the Boombus to experience the life of a rockstar visiting the Angel of the North and the sights of the Quayside. Back in school, our children have had a wonderful time solving Reasoning Problems, showing variance in their calculations and then enjoying an in house disco.
Well done to all our fabulous children.
Class 4 had so much fun dressing up as rockstars to celebrate TT Rockstar day. We did lots of TT Rockstars, answered some problem solving questions in our groups and then finished off the day with a fantastic disco. Everyone had a great time rocking!

Class 3 End of Topic Celebration – Land Ahoy
To celebrate the wonderful work on out topic of Land Ahoy, Class 3 delivered a performance to remember for the whole school! They sang a sea shanty and added musical instruments to compliment their fabulous lyrical skills 🎶
