30th March 2020
I hope that you and your loved ones are all keeping well. I’d like to thank you for your support, we have received some lovely messages over the last week which have been very much appreciated by the whole staff in these very challenging times. I am aware that everyone has their own personal circumstances to navigate during this time. This is not education as we have ever known it and trying to replicate a normal school day experience is very hard for children, parents and teachers.
Our main priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our whole school community. The children’s home learning should also be supplemented by daily exercise, fresh air, reading and recreational activity. All should, of course, be undertaken whilst following government guidelines.
Unfortunately, there are still many unanswered questions whilst we wait for national and local responses but please be assured that we will keep you informed once we receive more information.
Our school website is our central source of information and already contains some great advice, guidance and home learning links. For after the Easter holidays, if we still have not returned to school, I have added further home learning packs on the children’s class page for you to access. If you would like a paper copy of these, please can you contact us via school email and we will arrange for paper copies to be posted out to you or you can collect from school after the Easter holidays.
However, as always, if you feel you need further support, please do not hesitate to get in touch via our school email address- email@example.com
Take care and many thanks
