Lacie Mae’s dance award.
It seems we have a class full of such talented dancers! Well done to Lacie Mae on achieveing not, not two but THREE dance awards in October! Wow! What a fabulous achievement. We are looking forward to seeing your dance moves! You will have to teach the rest of us how to move! Wonderful news Lacie Mae!
We enjoyed a fun filled day of Pudsey activities whilst helping to raise money for Children in Need. The whole school came dressed in something spotty. In class 3 we then had fun making spotty headbands and making biscuits too. then we joined the rest of the school to take part in a dodge ball match. What a busy day!
Brooke’s Dance award.
Well done to Brooke on achieving her first certificate in dance. We are super proud of Brooke as she has just recently started a dance class and already she is winning worker of the week! Fantastic! Keep up the hard work!
Ava’s Dance Award.
A huge well done to Ava! She achieved a 95 in her dance exam! Just amazing! This is what she had to say.
As soon as I went into the studio I waited for my turn to dance. When it was my turn I needed to go in my ballroom practise room. I saw the examiner, she was called Joyce Parry. She was very nice. The dances that I did were Waltz, old time waltz, cha. cha, cha and bus stop live. When I went into the room I saw lots of signs. I felt scared at first but after I felt amazing!
On Wednesday 12 children from class 3 and 4 attended a Key Stage 2 Cross Country event. They did us proud! Even in the cold and rain they ran as fast as they could and competed against much bigger schools. They showed determination the whole time! Well done!
Poppy’s Swimming award.
We are very proud of Poppy in class 3. She has worked hard at her swimming and has achieved a fantastic award!
Here is what she had to say….
I had to swim 4 lengths but I could not touch the wall. the 2 other people watched me if I touched the wall. It was really hard to swim 4 lengths without stopping.

Egg Head Challenge
As part of our whole school bike safety day Class 3 took part in a helmet safety session with Jen. We had a talk about the importance of wearing a helmet when riding our bikes then had the opportunity to design a helmet.
We had to make sure the egg was protected in case he fell off his bike. Unfortunately not all of the eggs survived!
We had lots of fun!

Walk around Nettlesworth
Today we went for a walk around the village as part of our Geography work. We looked for signs of technology in our local area. We saw lots of examples and were even lucky enough to bump into the post lady who was using a hand held device!
Oliver had drawn a map for us so we followed it carefully and plotted all the technology we found. We are now very good at following a map!
