Matthew wrote a beautiful poem for the Remembrance Service held in Nettlesworth Community Centre on Sunday 11th November.
We see no man’s land now as Flanders Field where millions of people died but they never hield
It’s where the guns shot and some people died and fell and some got put in a cell.
Their bodies flew and flowers grew
Red and Black they were
There is a cross where they belong and you can still hear them singing their praises and a song.
We should be thankful because to the Government it was all about power and that is why we have the poppy flower
