On Friday 9th November, we had a Remembrance Service at school to remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty and also for the members who are in the forces today. We had 2 minutes silence at 11.00am to mark the end of World War 1 which ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. We were also very lucky to be visited by a former pupil Leo Hill, who is in cadets and wishes to go into the army and his brother Carl Hill, who is a member of the armed forces.
